Donard Recruitment has been retained by a medium sized building contractor to recruit a Site Manager, for a large housing project in Belfast. Our client has an excellent reputation for the delivery of many housing schemes. Our client has been growing at a steady pace and only hiring when there is a genuine need to grow the operational teams. They have excellent support structure throughout the business from Contracts Managers through to the Managing Director.

As Site Manager you will

  • Full responsibility for construction and management of the site ensuring a safe and efficient delivery of the project in phases.
  • Responsibilities include supervising the buildings from groundworks construction through to full completion and handing over.
  • Be required to manage and coordinate all trade contractors whilst maintaining a high expectation of health & safety, and quality control.
  • Manage all onsite activity

Essential Criteria

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload / excellent time management / excellent managerial skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Previous experience in large housing schemes
  • Career minded, energetic and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent people management and client skills.
  • Excellent reference and track record.
