Donard Recruitment are working exclusively with our client in Belfast to recruit for a Service Administrator, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional standards of service to both prospective and current customers, involving the sale and servicing of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment for one of the leading companies in Northern Ireland in this sector. In line with the company’s core values, the successful individual will focus on achieving consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the role involves receiving orders and service job requests via telephone and email, the sourcing parts from suppliers and preparing daily job schedules for the Service Engineering team. Additionally, you will provide customers with regular updates regarding order or job status, ensuring deadlines are met and our customer service standards maintained. The successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of customer needs, with the ability to complete tasks effectively and efficiently when working under pressure, while displaying a professional manner at all times.

The service administrator will need to have had experience in a similar role and be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a high paced environment. The role will be to provide an effective and efficient administration to the office and sales teams. The service administrator will ensure the smooth running of the desk on a daily basis.

A summary of key responsibilities is as follows:
Receiving and processing customer orders and service job requests via telephone and email
Dealing effectively with customer queries via telephone and email
Pro-actively updating customers on open jobs
Supporting the Service team in the planning and organisation of daily job schedules
Assisting the Sales Manager in the pricing of jobs, equipment and parts
Liaising with suppliers in the ordering of parts and equipment
Identifying ways to further improve the existing service offering

Essential Criteria:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced customer facing role from a similar environment
Good education attainment
Confident, driven and have excellent communication skills
Strong Customer Service Skills
Excellent IT Skills and working experience on a range of IT packages
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
Commercial acumen to maximise profitability
Highly customer focused, with a professional approach displayed at all times
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workload
Able to work independently and on own initiative
Ability to multi-task whilst retaining excellent attention to detail at all times
Pro-active, highly organised and having an awareness of all Service Desk activities

Associated benefits:
£20,000 – £23,000 basic salary depending on experience
