Donard Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a market leading, locally owned Contractor at their Head office in Newry, County Down. The role will be primarily based in their Newry Office with travel to ROI sites 1-2 days per week.

The successful Senior QS will be joining one of the provinces top Contractors and will be rewarded working on notable House Building projects with an attractive salary and rewards package.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

• Managing all costs related to house building projects within the division
• Preparation of monthly costs and measurement of all project elements
• Providing bill of quantities to assist with negotiating with sub-contractors
• Valuations
• Cost forecasting and regular preparation of reports for contract review meetings
• Contract administration
• Site measures from sub-contractors, liaison with contracts manager and site manager, other duties can be discussed.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Criteria:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• 6+ years’ Quantity Surveyor experience
• Significant house building experience is required
• Professional, organised approach to work with strong communication skills and ability to work on own initiative
• Full UK driving license, CSR Card,

Location: Newry, County Down

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 +
