Donard Construction are recruiting an intermediate Quantity Surveyor for a Tier 1, Irish main contractor based in North Dublin. This role will be spent between head office in North Dublin, sites in North Dublin and working from home when required.

This well-established Irish Main contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee a multi-million-pound project housing projects in Dublin, projected to be around €20m. This role is suited to candidates whom are in the South Armagh / Newry areas that want to work in the thriving Dublin area and work from home when needed.

Having been in the construction industry for 40+ years they have built up a portfolio of impressive awards and projects, both in Ireland and World-wide.


Job responsibilities to include;

  • Full responsibility for the cost of project (€10m+)
  • Attend regular meetings with site manager and project managers to ensure cost and contractual costs are in line with budgets
  • Oversee procurement schedule in line with development of project
  • Perform risk and value analysis
  • Attend and chair progress meetings, design meetings and supply meetings
  • Order changes and oversee final accounts
  • Ensure Health and safety is carried out to the highest standard

To be considered for this role you will need;

  • A Degree in Quantity surveying or related
  • 3+ years main contractor experience
  • Full clean driving license

This role is suited to an intermediate QS with 3+ years’ experience or a senior quantity surveyor. Salary will be dependant on the successful applicant and will be reviewed on application.
