Donard Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a market leading manufacturer in Magherafelt.

The successful Health & Safety Officer will be joining one of the region’s top employers and will be based in one of their manufacturing facilities to ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are maintained and adhered to across the site.

Health & Safety Officer Criteria:


  • NEBOSH Certificate, COSHH Trained OR a qualified ISO 18001 auditor
  • 2+ years’ experience as a H&S Officer in a similar heavy production environment
  • Experience carrying out near miss investigations, formalising H&S policies and procedures
  • Professional, organised approach to work and investigations with strong communication skills and ability to work on own initiative

Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment and reduce overall accident incidents and investigate near miss incidents
  • Review and promote all company H&S procedures and ensure open lines of communication across the company
  • Drive continuous improvement across H&S management practices and working practices through internal audits and assessment.
  • Ensure all essential H&S practices are carried out including fire drills & safety inspections

In return the successful Health & Safety Officer will receive a market leading salary and benefits package including.

Salary: £25,000 – 35,000

Location: County Tyrone / County Derry / Londonderry / County Armagh
