Accounts Assistant – Magherafelt – Maternity Cover

My client, based local to Magherafelt have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their team immediately. Having been in operation for almost 50 years this family run business will offer the successful Accounts Assistant a stable working environment in which to progress their career.


The Accounts Assistant is initially to cover a Maternity Cover, however is likely to become a permanent long term post. The rate of pay is negotiable dependent on experience and both Full Time and Part-Time (4 Days/week) will be considered.


As an Accounts Assistant you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Input of Purchase Ledger invoices and resolve supplier queries
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Purchase Ledger processing
  • Accounts Administration & any other accounts duties
  • General administration duties as required


The successful Accounts Assistant will have knowledge and experience of working with Sage Accounts and will have an excellent grasp of both written and spoken English. You will be well organised with a ‘can do’ attitude and it is important that the Accounts Assistant has the ability to work well within a small team but remains confident when working independently.


Due to the location of the office you must have access to a vehicle.
