Training

To guarantee delivery of a quality service, you will be given the on-going support you need to grow your skills and develop professionally.

Career Progression and CPD

Continuing Professional Development is an integral part of every healthcare professional’s working life. This is an applied learning environment: you will attend training events that enhance your learning and development and the work you do as a Disability Assessor, making sure you are always up to date on the PIP assessment process. You will be provided with an on-going programme of CPD modules that will give you the latest knowledge and training to support your role as a Disability Assessor. There are currently 40 training modules, most of which can be completed online. Keeping up to date with the in-house programme will support your future revalidation process.

Becoming a Disability Assessor is an excellent way to broaden your field of expertise and gain valuable experience that will open doors in your career – whether that’s management roles in the PIP team, working elsewhere in Capita, or wherever your career takes you.
